Service Manager

Hours: 37.5 per week, permanent
Location: Based in Newcastle, but covering services across the North East of England

As the result of development, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced manager to join our passionate and innovative team in our Community and Wellbeing Services. This is a new position where you will combine your experience of managing teams with your proven track record in working with a variety of stakeholders to deliver high quality services against key performance indicators.

Working in partnership with the Head of Community and Wellbeing Services and your team leads, you will oversee the management of a diverse range of community based projects which support individuals to improve their health and wellbeing. Travelling throughout the local area no two days will be the same, covering everything from coaching individual staff, to producing reports for a project’s key stakeholders, and managing budgets to leading on performance improvement projects. However, no matter what your day involves you will know you are making a difference to the people we serve.

You will be joining Mental Health Concern which is a registered charity that provides a broad range of services, supporting people with mental health problems to live valued lives. Primarily based in the North East of England and employing over 260 staff, we are commissioned by the NHS and Local Authorities to provide a wide range of specialist services. As part of the Community and Wellbeing Services team you will be at the heart of our community offering, working alongside individuals who bring a variety of different skills and experiences to the team.
